Lately, all inclusive tariffs for mobile phone calls have become very popular in many countries. For a higher fixed base fee, you get 1000 or more minutes per month included, with no additional time-related costs.
On the other hand, there are still pre-paid cards with no base fee at all, but with very high costs per minute. Among friends or in a family, it often doesn’t make sense that everyone gets one of the more expensive tariff variants.
As a result, if two people with those two different tariff models want to talk to each other, it only makes sense if the all-inclusive person calls the other one, in order to avoid additional expenses.
If the pre-paid person wants to start the call however, the all-inclusive person should discard it and then call back. Only then no additional costs have to be paid. Unfortunately, this method has got several disadvantages. First, the all-inclusive person always has to be careful whether he should accept incoming calls or call back. Second, it’s more work for both persons. And third, it takes quite some time until the call is established.
The process described above is automatically handled by Auto Call Back – if activated, the application discards calls from people in a special contacts group and then establishes a call back.
The all-inclusive-person has to start the application on his phone. Next, he simply puts all people from his contact database that should be called back into an auto call-back contacts group. Whenever a contact from this group now establishes a call, it is automatically discarded by the application. Afterwards, the number is immediately called back.
From the point of view of the pre-paid person, it’s equally easy to use. He builds the call to the all-inclusive person and then just waits until he can press the green key to answer the call-back.

My first impression of LG’s KC550 EDGE cell phone was that it looked pretty cool - a sleek black slider with a big screen.

1. Menyimpan nomor “Missed Call” di direktori ponsel.
Cari menu “Missed Call”, tekan “Yes” untuk menampilkan nomor yang dituju. Tekan nomor apa saja ( 0 sampai 9 ), kemudian tekan “clear” sekali untuk memblok nomor tersebut, kemudian tekan dan tahan “ ‘ 2 kali untuk memilih “Hide Id?” dan tekan ‘Yes’.
3. Mengecek level batere ketika ponsel mati (off ).
Tekan ‘No’ secara cepat 1 x dan tunggu hingga tampilan baterai terlihat.
4. Menyimpan nomor di memori ponsel (bukan SIM Card).
Ikuti prosedur normal untuk menyimpan nomor. Ketika tampilan untuk menyimpan terlihat tekan ‘#’ sekali dan lokasi yang diinginkan, atau tekan ‘#’ 2 kali untuk melihat posisi lanjutan.
5. Menghubungi nomor dari pesan SMS.
Mengarahkan kursor pada nomor yang tertulis, kemudian tekan “Yes”.
Shortcut Penampilan Gambar :
(Berlaku di sebagian besar ponsel Symbian).
Ketika melihat image atau gambar di galeri, tekan :
1 : untuk memutar gambar ke kiri.
2 : untuk memutar gambar ke kanan.
5 atau 7 : untuk memperbesar (zoom) gambar.
* : untuk tampilan fullscreen atau non fullscreen.
Catatan : perintah angka di atas bisa berbeda di setiap ponsel.
Hard Reset :
Peringatan !!! Semua data ponsel akan hilang.
Dalam keadaan ponsel mati (off), tekan secara bersamaan tombol telepon (bicara), angka 3, dan tombol * (bintang). Kemudian dalam keadaan menekan ketiga tombol tersebut, tekan tombol On. Trik ini berlaku di sebagian besar ponsel Nokia.

Pemilik Nokia N82 versi hitam mungkin tidak memerlukan software ini, tapi pemilik N82 silver (yang belum melakukan upgrade firmware) serta N95 dan N95 8GB dapat menambahkan fitur geotagging di ponselnya. Untuk ponsel-ponsel Nokia yang baru, seperti 6220 dan N78 juga tidak membutuhkan software ini karena fitur tersebut telah terintegrasi ke dalam software.
Sebelumnya, apa itu geotagging? Singkatnya, geotagging adalah penambahan metadata berisikan informasi geografis ke berbagai media, seperti website, RSS, atau gambar.
Untuk software yang digunakan di N95 dan N82 ini, khusus menambahkan data untuk gambar. Data tersebut berupa koordinat bujur dan lintang suatu tempat, bahkan lokasi (jika ada peta dan dukungan software) tempat foto tersebut diambil.
Jadi misalnya saya sedang jalan-jalan dan kebetulan menemukan tempat makan yang enak, saya tinggal mengaktifkan fungsi GPS di ponsel, mengambil foto tempat tersebut, sehingga saya tinggal membuka software GPS, maka akan tertera tempat makan tersebut. Saya juga bisa upload ke Ovi atau layanan web lain yang mendukung, tempat makan tadi akan muncul di peta (tentunya jika sudah ada peta daerah tersebut). Tak perlu repot-repot memberitahu jalan atau malah sampai menggambar peta bagi teman Anda yang ingin ke sana. Semua serba otomatis. Kalau yang agak manual, bisa memasukkan data koordinat ke layanan peta online untuk mengetahui posisi persis di mana foto tersebut diambil.
Sebenarnya Anda dapat menggunakan Nokia Location Tagger dari Nokia Beta Labs, tapi ternyata ADnota GeoTag memiliki satu kelebihan. Jika software dari Nokia tersebut merupakan satu aplikasi terpisah, ADnota GeoTag terintegrasi ke aplikasi kamera, sehingga prosesnya lebih mudah dan sederhana. Satu hal yang perlu diingat, jangan lupa untuk menghubungkan ponsel ke satelit melalui menu GPS agar GeoTagging dapat dilakukan. Seperti fungsi GPS pada umumnya, pastikan Anda dan ponsel berada di luar ruangan dengan tidak ada halangan di atas kepala Anda, seperti atap, jalan tol, jembatan, dan sebagainya.

Sebagai perusahaan handset terbesar didunia, selama ini Nokia sudah sangat dikenal dengan metode input melalui keyboard-nya. Namun seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, Symbian merilis versi S60-nya yang dilengkapi dengan dukungan terhadap layar sentuh (touch screen) yang pada akhirnya pula memberi ide kepada Nokia untuk pengembangan versi terbarunya.
Symbian S60 menawarkan platform yang sempurna dengan inovasi layanan Internet. Seperti yang diketahui bahwa perkembangan dan kebutuhan akan smartphone yang fungsional dan mudah digunakan semakin tinggi. Itu pulalah salah satu alasan yang menjadi strategi Nokia untuk memberikan nilai lebih pada salah satu pemenuhan kebutuhan mereka.
Di bulan yang akan datang, Symbian akan memperkenalkan fitur barunya yang akan memberikan sebuah pengalaman baru bagi perusahaan manufaktur, developer, maupun operator untuk mendesain sebuah type telepon seluler baru dengan penambahan kelengkapan fasilitas seperti yang disediakan Symbian. Para pengguna nantinya akan disuguhi beberapa cara input data, mulai dari mempergunakan keyboard QWERTY yang ada maupun dengan layar sentuh yang dilengkapi dengan pen.
Nokia N 95-3

Hal pertama yang dapat dikatakan dari Nokia seri N 95-3 ini adalah paduan nyata telepon seluler dengan komputer multimedia. Hal ini tentu saja disebabkan karena berbagai fitur multimedianya yang sangat lengkap, mulai dari music player, video player dan streaming Internet player yang menangani program-program gratis Nokia (Sony Pictures thrillers, RoofTop Comedy, FreeBeTV, YouTube mobile dan seterusnya). Selain itu masih ditambah dengan fasilitas slide show untuk gambar foto-foto, dan dilengkapi pula dengan tombol-tombol multimedia.
Sistem Operasi yang dipakai smartphone ini adalah Symbian S60 3.1 yang dapat diakses pada komputer Mac maupun Windows. Symbian S60 3.1 juga memberikan fitur lengkap untuk aplikasi PIM (kontak, kalender, organizer, catatan) sebaik email dan yang merupakan bagian terbaik adalah full HTML web browsers untuk mobile phone (yang hanya bisa ditandingi iPhone). Selengkapnya fitur dari N 95-3 juga dulengkapi dengan WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR with Bluetooth stereo A2DP dan memory microSD card yang kompatibel hingga 2 GB. Selain itu smartphone ini juga terintegrasi dengan GPS dan dan software Nokia Maps yang mencakup jangkauan world wide web terbaru dari Nokia sendiri. Display layar mempergunakan QVGA 240 x 320 16 juta warna selebar 2.6 inch dengan sensor yang mengatur secara otomatis tingkat kecerahannya.
Seri Nokia N 95-3 merupakan salah satu seri N 95 yang diperuntukkan bagi peredaran pasar Amerika, yang tentu saja mungkin akan sedikit berbeda dengan seri N 95 yang diperuntukkan bagi peredaran di pasar Asia da Eropa. Smartphone ini tersedia dalam dua pilihan warna, hitam dan tembaga, sedangkan sisi depan berwarna silver.(dna)
WiMax Produk Nokia

Nokia Corp merencanakan penambahan konektivitas WiMax tablet Internet N-series di tahun 2008.
WiMax adalah teknologi wide-area networking yang menawarkan kecepatan download lebih cepat daripada jaringan mobile 3G (third-generation) dan memiliki daya jangkau lebih luas daripada Wi-Fi. Penambahan teknologi WiMax pada tablet Internet memungkinkan user berselancar di Web lebih cepat atau melakukan panggilan jarak jauh menggunakan Skype Ltd. yang ada di luar jangkauan hot spot Wi-Fi.
Internet tablet keluaran Nokia yang baru beredar saat ini, yaitu N800, memiliki layar wide-screen beresolusi 800 x 480 pixel. Piranti ini sudah dilengkapi dengan Wi-Fi dan Bluetooth 2.0. N800 juga mendukung jaringan seluler, walaupun Bluetooth bisa digunakan juga untuk terkoneksi dengan telepon seluler.
Internet tablets Nokia, yang berjalan di atas sistem operasi Linux, akan menggunakan chipset Broad Peak WiMax dari Intel Corp. Chip yang sama juga akan digunakan pada laptop-laptop Centrino masa datang yang mendukung WiMax.
Sampai dengan kuartal kedua 2008, laptop-laptop Centrino dengan dukungan WiMax akan diproduksi oleh Asustek Computer Inc., Acer Inc., Lenovo Group Ltd., Toshiba Corp. dan Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., yang menjual laptop di bawah merek Panasonic.
Nokia mengatakan Internet tablet dengan dukungan WiMax akan diedarkan di wilayah Amerika Serikat dan bisa digunakan dengan memanfaatkan jaringan Sprint Nextel Corp. Sementara ini belum diperoleh informasi pasti apakah Nokia juga merencanakan menjual piranti WiMax di luar wilayah AS.
